  I had to give 1 star in order to post my review but QWR is probably one of the worst construction companies in Chicago. They were contracted for us through the Lowes PSI program and boy did we draw the short straw with Peter and Ziggy. It was an easy 12 x12 kitchen and small bath remodel and they botched everything they touched. The one that spoke English left for 2 weeks and we do not speak Polish. Their plumbing was a disaster; the floor was put in incorrectly; "the European way" which is put 6 blobs of thin set on the tile and stomp on it. The lower cabinets were not level so our granite install by another company was off by 1/2". They hung the upper cabinets wrong; they never looked at the plans. Then we were sent their "A" team, which was just as bad, but they at least spoke English. Honestly, they should not be allowed to do construction. They argue with you about anything you want done. In order to get Lowes to fix everything, I had to file a complaint against Lowes with the BBB but actually; it should have been against QWR. If you do hire them, keep track of all of your materials that you purchased, but really, DO NOT HIRE THEM. We were lucky; Lowes hired other tradesman to come look to fix the mistakes. They would just shake their heads at the work that was done but something’s could not be fixed and we will have to live with the mistakes forever. My husband has also had to fix a lot of their mistakes too. They want your money but they do a pathetic job. If I could give them 5 negative stars, I would.
